Soar with Reading campaign nominated for two PR News CSR Awards
We’re proud to announce that JetBlue's Soar with Reading project has been nominated for two PR News CSR Awards. Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the key benchmarks of an organization’s overall success and reputation in the marketplace. PR News CSR Awards recognize the corporations and their partners that have executed highly successful and impactful CSR campaigns in the past 12 months. These awards recognize both the communications surrounding a CSR initiative and the initiative itself, depending on the category you enter.
The first category the project is nominated in is Cause Branding. This category recognizes a particular campaign in which the corporation’s brand is aligned with a cause, resulting in a nonprofit-corporate partnership that benefits the cause and raises awareness among consumers. Soar with Reading is also nominated in the Corporate Community Partnership category which includes campaigns whose primary focus is forming/promoting a partnership for a social or community cause. The awards take place in Washington, DC on April 17th. Good luck to the entire JetBlue Team!
The Soar with Reading: Let Your Imagination Take Flight campaign is a joint project of JetBlue and PBS KIDS designed to help combat the reading regress that occurs during the summer months by encouraging customers and crewmembers to inspire children to read and learn about the world around them while at home or on the go.
Company 20 is honored to work with JetBlue on this great program, and we’re excited to announce Soar with Reading will return in 2012. We are currently at work crafting the second year of the campaign that will launch in June. Check out www.SoarwithReading.com for more information!
